KAI Daop 7 Madiun: 2025/2026 Nataru Train Tickets Still Available for 8,489 Seats

2025/2026 Christmas and New Year transportation starts from 18 December 2025 to 4 January 2026

Madiun – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Area 7 Madiun continues to be committed to providing transportation services that are safe, comfortable and increasingly serving the community during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) transportation periods. Until now, train tickets departing from the Daop 7 Madiun area are still available for 8,489 seats for various connections, both short distance and medium-long distance.

During the 2025/2026 Nataru Transport period, KAI Daop 7 Madiun operated 108 Long Distance Train (KAJJ) trips, both commercial trains and Public Service Obligation (PSO) trains, with a total capacity of 65,565 seats.

As of Saturday (20/12), ticket sales had reached 57,076 seats or around 87 percent of the total capacity provided. Of this number, there were 31,082 customers boarding from the Daop 7 Madiun area, or 47.4 percent of the total available seating capacity. Thus, the remaining capacity that can still be booked is currently 8,489 seats.

“The favorite dates chosen by customers for the Nataru trip are in the range 18 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. During this period, especially for commercial economy trains and PSO trains, the occupancy rate has reached 100 percent,” said Tohari, Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 7 Madiun.

However, Tohari added that there is still ticket availability on certain dates and relations, so that people still have alternative options for traveling by train during the year-end holidays.

There are several long-distance trains departing from the Daop 7 Madiun area, including:

Madiun Jaya train (143) connecting Madiun – Pasar Senen, departs from Madiun Station at 07.55 WIB;

KA Singasari (149) connecting Blitar – Pasar Senen, departs from Blitar Station at 16.40 WIB;

Brantas train (151) connecting Blitar – Pasar Senen, departs from Blitar Station at 12.55 WIB;

Bangunkarta train (161) connecting Jombang – Pasar Senen, departs from Jombang Station at 06.55 WIB;

Kahuripan train (273) connecting Blitar – Pasar Senen, departs at 17.10 WIB;

Additional Brantas Train (7015A).

KAI Daop 7 Madiun urges the public to immediately plan trips and order tickets via the Access by KAI application, the official kai.id website, or other official sales channels. Customers are also expected to arrive early at the station and comply with all safety regulations for a smooth and comfortable trip.
