MediaBantenCyber.co.id – (MBC) Surakarta, In order to suppress forest crimes ahead of Eid related to illegal logging, Perum Perhutani KPH Surakarta and Jenar Police held a joint patrol in the forest area of Sragen Regency, on Saturday (28/02/2026). And this activity was carried out as a preventive measure to maintain the stability of forest security and strengthen synergy between the National Police and Perum Perhutani.
Joint patrols take place at 15.00 WIB. 20.00 WIB by exploring vulnerable points in the forest area, including the Tangen, Banyuurip, Blontah and Jenar forest management resorts.
This activity was attended by elements of Perum Perhutani KPH Surakarta, BKPH Tangen including Deputy Adm/KSKPH Surakarta Pirmansyah, Asper/KBKPH Tangen Mastur, Polhutmob KPH Surakarta and all KRPH as well as the BKPH Tangen Foreman, while the ranks of the Jenar Police were led directly by the Head of Police AKP DR Windarto, SH, MH Head of Criminal Investigation Unit and members of the Jenar Police
Before carrying out the Joint Patrol, the members who took part in the patrol were first called by the Jenar Police Chief in the yard of the Jenar Police Office to receive direction before carrying out the Joint Patrol. In his direction, the Jenar Police Chief AKP DR Windarto, SH MH appreciated the existence of this Joint Patrol to suppress forest crime. Without the permission of the authorities, you will be subject to criminal penalties in accordance with Forestry Law No. 41 of 2019. Keep yourself safe and don’t get emotional when taking action.
This joint patrol is a form of joint commitment in protecting forest areas from various potential disturbances such as illegal logging activities. This joint patrol not only aims to maintain forest security, but also strengthens coordination and working relations between the National Police and Perum Perhutani KPH Surakarta. This synergy is important so that efforts to prevent disturbances to public security and order can be carried out optimally, said DR Windarto, SH MH ending his remarks.
Deputy Head of Admin/KSKPH Surakarta Pirmansyah, SE explained that cross-agency involvement is the key to preserving forests as well as creating a sense of security for communities around forest areas. By being present in the field, it is hoped that potential violations of the law can be prevented early on.

This joint patrol was directly led by Jenar Police Chief AKP DR Windarto, SH MH with highway patrol routes and patrols at potentially vulnerable plots of land in the Jenar, Banyuurip and Tangen RPH areas. This joint patrol event did not find any forest crimes and ended with breaking fast and evening prayers with the Jenar Police and Perum Perhutani KPH Surakarta at RD Jenar BKPH Tangen.
