SERANG CITY – Deputy Mayor of Serang, Nur Agis Aulia attended the Ramadhan Safari activities at the Darurrohman Mosque, Puri Citra Housing Complex, Pipitan Village, Walantaka District, Friday (13/3/2026).
Agis’ presence was greeted enthusiastically by community leaders and hundreds of residents who had been waiting since before the activity started.
Observing the location, the Darurrohman Mosque appeared to be full of worshipers. Some residents even had to take part in activities outside the mosque area because of the high enthusiasm of the people who wanted to meet the Deputy Mayor of Serang in person.
In this activity, Agis was accompanied by Regional Assistant (Asda) II for the Serang City Government Yudi, Expert Staff for the Mayor of Serang Iqbal, as well as a number of heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Serang City Government.
Prayers and Hope for the Residents of Serang City
In his speech, Agis began by offering prayers for the people present. He hopes that residents will be given smooth sustenance and ease in living their lives.
“Apart from praying for smooth sustenance and making it easier to pay off debts, I also pray that Allah SWT will put us all into heaven,” said Agis.

He also prayed that the children of Serang City would grow up to be a devout and devoted generation and able to bring goodness to the region.
“In this blessed month of Ramadan, may our prayers be answered by Allah SWT,” he added.
Ramadhan Safari Becomes a Gathering Event
Agis explained that the Ramadhan Safari activity held by the Serang City Government was not only a religious agenda, but also a momentum to strengthen ties between the local government and the community.
In this activity, compensation was also provided to orphans and the poor as a form of concern in the holy month of Ramadan.

Serang City Government Focuses on Development and Human Resources
On that occasion, Agis also conveyed a number of development programs that were being prepared by the Serang City Government.
According to him, during the leadership of Budi Rustandi and himself, the Serang City Government focused on physical and non-physical development.
Physical development is focused on improving infrastructure in various regions. Meanwhile, non-physical development is directed at improving the quality of human resources (HR).
Some of the programs prepared include strengthening religious activities such as Serang Mengaji, developing entrepreneurship through Serang Preneur, as well as programs to strengthen the employment sector both domestically and abroad.
Encourage Job Opportunities for Residents
During the Ramadhan Safari in Walantaka District, Agis also explained the employment program initiated by the Serang City Government.
It is hoped that this program will be able to open up more job opportunities for the residents of Serang City as well as improve community welfare.
Free People’s School for Underprivileged Citizens
Apart from that, Agis also conveyed the existence of the People’s School (SR) program in Serang City which is intended for underprivileged communities.
Through this program, students can study using a boarding school system free of charge.
All student needs, from uniforms, housing, education costs to food, are covered by the state.
“Students are only asked to focus on studying because all the facilities have been provided,” said Agis.
He explained that education levels at the People’s School are available from elementary, middle to high school.
