JAKARTA, POSKOTA.CO.ID – The DKI Jakarta Food, Maritime and Agricultural Security Service (KPKP) noted that the price of red cayenne pepper began to show a downward trend in the three days after the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.
However, on a monthly average, the prices of these horticultural commodities were still higher in March compared to the previous month of February, due to weather factors affecting production.
Head of the DKI Jakarta KPKP Service Hasudungan A Sidabalok said that the price of red cayenne pepper as of March 27 2026 was IDR 85,909 per kilogram, a decrease of IDR 1,591 compared to the previous day.
“Three days after the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday, the price of red cayenne pepper continues to decline. The average price of red cayenne pepper on March 27 2025 is IDR 85,909 per kg, which is down IDR 1,591 from the previous day’s price,” said Hasudungan to Poskota, Sunday, March 29 2026.

Hasudungan said, if you look at the monthly average, the price of red cayenne pepper actually shows an increase. Throughout March 2026, the average price reached IDR 108,321 per kilogram or an increase of IDR 17,193 compared to February 2026.
“The price of red cayenne pepper in March 2026 is still higher than the average price in February 2026. The average price in March 2026 is IDR 108,321 per kg, which is an increase of IDR 17,193 from the previous month,” said Hasudungan.
Hasudungan explained that the price increase at that time was triggered by high rainfall which had a direct impact on production at the farmer level. This condition causes the supply of chilies to Jakarta to decrease, both in terms of quantity and quality.
“Apart from that, high rainfall causes production costs to increase due to increased pest and disease attacks on chili plantations,” said Hasudungan.

According to him, horticultural commodities such as chilies have a high level of price volatility. This is because it is easily damaged and is very dependent on natural conditions in the production process.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
