SERANG CITY – The Serang City Government continues to strengthen regional identity and image through strategic regional development steps. One of them was carried out by the Deputy Mayor of Serang, Nur Agis Aulia at the Executive Workshop Region or City Branding Program in Yogyakarta on 22–23 May 2026.
This activity becomes a strategic forum for regional heads and government officials in developing a more focused, competitive and sustainable regional image development amidst the development of modern cities.
The city branding program is considered important as an effort to build regional identity, character and differentiation in order to increase the attractiveness of investment, tourism and the development of the creative economy.
Through this workshop, the Serang City Government continues to develop regional branding strategies to strengthen the position of Serang City as a developing and competitive region at regional and national levels.
Deputy Mayor of Serang, Nur Agis Aulia, said city branding is not just a slogan or visual display, but is part of a strategy to build character and trust in the region.
“City branding is not just about regional logos or slogans, but how a city has a strong identity, clear character, and is able to give a positive impression to the public and investors,” he said.
Apart from discussing strengthening regional image, the workshop also presented various materials regarding public communication, regional marketing, developing regional potential, and strengthening collaboration between stakeholders.
This activity was organized by Inventure, which is known to have experience in developing regional competitiveness through city and regional branding strategies in various regions in Indonesia.
Through participation in this program, the Serang City Government is optimistic that strengthening city branding can support increased investment and the tourism sector, as well as emphasize Serang City’s position as the capital of Banten Province which continues to grow and develop.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
