JAKARTA, POSKOTA.CO.ID – The positive results achieved by Indonesian athletes at the 2026 Singapore Open are a strong signal that the national badminton regeneration process continues to move in a positive direction. The achievements of the pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in reaching the final and Alwi Farhan’s progress to the semifinals are proof of the presence of a combination of strength between senior players and the next generation who are increasingly competitive at world level.
This achievement also reflects the results of ongoing coaching carried out by PBSI together with strategic partners, including PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, in supporting the development of Indonesian badminton talent.
BNI Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo said, every international tournament is not only a place to achieve achievements, but is also an important part of the process of forming a winning mentality and increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian athletes on the global stage.
“Fajar/Fikri’s success in reaching the final and Alwi Farhan’s impressive performance in the semifinals show that the regeneration of Indonesian badminton athletes continues to move in a positive direction. This is important capital to face the next big tournaments and also confirms that continuous development is starting to show real results,” said Okki.

Entering the Indonesia Open 2026 which will take place at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, starting June 2 2026, BNI will again provide full support to the athletes who will carry Indonesia’s name in front of the public.
A total of 21 Indonesian athletes will compete in the Super 1000 level tournament. The presence of senior players full of experience combined with potential young athletes is a strong illustration of the ongoing regeneration in national badminton.
In the men’s singles sector, Indonesia will rely on Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan who are showing positive developments. Meanwhile, Putri Kusuma Wardani is the Red and White representative in the women’s singles sector.
In the men’s doubles sector, Indonesia was strengthened by Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, and Ali Faathir Rayhan/Devin Artha Wahyudi.

Meanwhile, the women’s doubles sector was strengthened by Apriani Rahayu/Lanny Tria Mayasari, Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Isyana Syahira Meida/Rinjani Kwinara Nastine.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
